Geographic Demography of New Students
New students in 2015-2016 matriculated to U Prep from 53 different schools (57 percent from independent schools and 43 percent from public schools). These students live as far north as Everett, as far south as DesMoines, as far east as Lake Sammamish, and as far west as West Seattle.

Approximately one quarter of our students commute to and from school using University Prep’s Metro Custom Bus system. With more than 85 pick-up and drop-off locations, it serves students who live throughout the Greater Seattle/Eastside area.
The Commons Café serves a variety of healthy, hot and cold options for breakfast, snack and lunch daily. Students may purchase a refillable meal card or pay cash for food and beverages.

After School Check-In: Available to Middle School students daily from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at no additional charge.
Athletics: Open to Middle and Upper School students, with varied practices, game times and locations.

- U Prep’s standardized testing scores are well above the national average.
- Sixty-one percent of the Class of 2015 were Washington State Scholars, with ten National Merit Commended Scholars and one National Merit Finalist.
