University Prep is an independent 6 –12 school located in an urban residential section of Seattle, one of the country’s most diverse and dynamic cities. We are looking for staff and faculty who share our belief that a culturally rich and inclusive school community provides students with the best possible environment for a quality education. To us, diversity and inclusivity is not an addendum; it is embodied in all facets of our school.
As positions become available, they will be listed under the Current Openings section of this webpage. That said, if you value what’s important to University Prep, and find yourself drawn to our school, send us your resume regardless of whether there is an opening that matches your credentials. We can never predict when openings occur.

University Prep is seeking top talent with a passion for creating and nurturing an excellent and innovative educational environment. We offer qualified professionals a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in a friendly and supportive work setting. We provide competitive pay and a comprehensive benefit package.
An unusually large number of teaching positions are being filled for 2016-2017. This is a direct result of our comprehensive, year-long strategic planning process that focused on promoting teacher excellence into the future. The additional positions are designed to support our faculty’s newly reduced teaching load; free up the new grade-level deans by an additional class to give them more time to carry out their new responsibilities; allow the faculty more time to work with students and for collaboration among each other; maintain a low student ratio; and respond to our enrollment demands.
To apply: Please fill out the University Prep faculty application. Please note that you do not need to sign the application until you have been invited to school for an in-person interview. Send the University Prep faculty application along with your cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
