Geographic Demography of New Students
New students in 2013-2014 matriculated to U Prep from 65 different schools (53 percent from independent schools and 47 percent from public schools). These students live as far north as Everett, as far south as DesMoines, as far east as Lake Sammamish, and as far west as West Seattle.

Tuition**
Middle School: $27,300 + $850 incidental fee*
Upper School: $28,400 + $850 incidental fee*
*Incidental fee covers such things as accident insurance, retreats, field trips, and student publications.
**Tuition does not include lunch, textbooks, lab fees, personal athletic equipment, student publications, or various charges connected with off-campus events.
Transportation
Approximately one quarter of our students commute to and from school using University Prep’s Metro Custom Bus system. With more than 85 pick-up and drop-off locations, it serves students who live throughout the Greater Seattle/Eastside area.
Food Service
The Commons Café serves a variety of healthy, hot and cold options for breakfast, snack and lunch daily. Students may purchase a refillable meal card or pay cash for food and beverages.

After School Check-In: Available to Middle School students daily from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at no additional charge.
Athletics: Open to Middle and Upper School students, with varied practices, game times and locations.
College Preparation
- Over 133 national and international college representatives visit each fall.
- U Prep’s standardized testing scores are well above the national average.
- Sixty-one percent of the Class of 2013 were Washington State Scholars, with nine National Merit Commended Scholars and oneo National Merit Finalists.
- One-hundred percent of the Class of 2013 is attending college this fall.
