If you are interested in submitting a late application for the 2016-2017 school year, please contact our Associate Director of Admission Melaine Taylor at or 206.832.1116.

Welcome to University Prep! Our goal in the Admission Office is to guide and support prospective families through the admission process. At University Prep we believe in transparency. We are committed to providing you with many opportunities to get an authentic look at our school. We want to help you discover whether University Prep is the right fit for your student and family. Please take some time to explore our website and peruse our Middle School Course of Study and our Upper School Course of Study, but understand that words and photos alone cannot fully capture the extraordinary learning community that is University Prep. For that, you must come to campus.

Once here, you will find smart, collaborative, engaged and happy students. You will witness teachers who are passionate about their subjects, love teaching, mentoring and coaching middle and upper school students, and who are completely committed to their success. You will have the opportunity to hear current parents and administrators share their experiences and knowledge of the school. Our hope is that you will leave campus with a better understanding of what defines University Prep, what makes it special. It isn’t the beautiful facilities or simply the strength of its academic, athletic and co-curricular programs, but rather the people who make up this diverse and inclusive community.

We certainly hope to see you at an open house and, if your child applies, we strongly encourage you to attend the parent tour on your student’s visit day. But don’t stop there. Depending on your student’s interests, we encourage you to attend a U Prep athletic event, music concert, play or other co-curricular activity. We will keep you apprised of these events throughout the admission season.

We are always available to answer your questions and we look forward to meeting you and your student through the admission process.
