Welcome to University Prep! We invite you to learn more about our program and what it can offer your student. We encourage you to first take a look at University Prep’s Viewbook and the 2009-2010 Middle School Course of Study and Upper School Course of Study, and then to further explore our Web site. It is full of valuable information that will help you become better acquainted with our school. We want to help you discover if University Prep is the right fit for your student and are always available to answer your questions.
This year, the Admission Office is taking a bold step to help University Prep become a greener school. We are deliberately moving away from the traditional paper application packet. At first glance, you will notice the difference between our small trifold brochure and the large application packets from other schools, but all of our application materials are available right here on our Web site. If your student chooses to apply to University Prep, we invite you to partner with us in reducing the use of paper. We encourage you to apply online and submit both your parent statement and student essays via e-mail. This year, even teacher evaluations can be submitted via e-mail directly from your student’s teachers. When we receive e-mailed documents, we will send an e-mail to the sender confirming their arrival.
Our hope is that this process makes applying to University Prep easier for you as well as earth friendly. It will allow us to reduce the use of paper and the cost associated with the traditional paper application packet by more than 85 percent.
