Dear Colleague:

The Space Needle. Mt. Rainier. Pike Place Market. Puget Sound. Great coffee. An amazing music scene. University Prep. When you think of Seattle, I am certain all of these cultural, natural, and educational gems come to mind!

I am delighted that you will visit University Prep this fall. I promise the trip to campus will be worthwhile. To assist you with your travel planning, please find directions to campus, a list of hotels, and other Seattle information.

Our senior class is an impressive group, and they are energized about the college process. Our students attend colleges and universities across the country and overseas. When searching for colleges, University Prep’s students are not limited by geographic scope or a “herd” mentality. Ambitious, creative, artistic, athletic, and kind, they are an inspiring group.

As a former admissions counselor myself, I understand the trials and tribulations of life on the road; therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at kherrington@universityprep.org or by phone at 206.832.1226 should you have any questions, encounter car trouble, get lost in Seattle, or spill coffee on your suit and need a dry cleaner! I am positive, though, that your travels to Seattle and University Prep will run smoothly. Please contact my colleague, Ms. Wendy Robbins, to schedule your visit. She can be reached at 206.832.1127 or wrobbins@universityprep.org.

The Space Needle, Mt. Rainier, Pike Place Market, Puget Sound, great coffee, an amazing music scene and, first and foremost, University Prep await you!

Sincerely,

Kelly Herrington
Director of College Counseling
