Auction

This year, the theme is "Kool Kats on the Waterfront!" We hope you’ll join in the festivities at our annual fund- and friend-raising event. Our auction is a very special one as proceeds augment the fabulous education our kids are receiving at University Prep!

Auction night is Saturday, March 23 at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott. The entire U Prep community is invited, and we expect about 400 guests. It is a fun, informal event where we mingle, catch up with favorite friends and faculty, and raise funds to support the school, Parent Council initiatives, and a Fund-a-Need project ("Spruce Up Our School").

We are planning an online auction to run earlier in March, with all bidding done at our auction Website. At the live event we’ll start with a small silent auction, raffle and wine grab during cocktail hour, then proceed to the live auction and dinner. There will be fun surprises, performances by students, and some unique items available for bidding. It’s always a fun night, and we hope you’ll come!

The auction is a community-building event, and there are many ways to participate. If you would like to donate cash, are willing to donate or procure items, or own a business that can sponsor the auction, please do! You can download a procurement form from our Website, or donate online.

Donating your time on an auction committee is a great way to get to know other parents in the University Prep community. You can offer your help or make inquiries by emailing auction@universityprep.org.

Gathering your friends together for a table at the auction is an easy and fun way to ensure a night of good socializing. Check in with the families of your student’s friends and invite them to sit with you; just let us know your tablemates at reservation time.

Thank you for your enthusiastic support of our students. We hope you will participate in whatever way you are able to help us make this year’s auction a success. We hope to see you there!
