UPrep Holds its First LaunchPad Networking Night

On the evening of November 9, University Prep held its first LaunchPad Networking Night – a casual social bringing together the Class of 2018 and fifteen members of the local professional community. Designed to help seniors begin designing their own LaunchPad experience, the final two weeks of school that will take place out of the classroom pursuing a project that speaks to their intellectual curiosities and personal passions. The evening was a chance for seniors to tap into the wide range of connections afforded by the broader UPrep community and practice their networking skills. This was the first in a series of new programs this year to help them find mentors and experiences in their areas of interest. Over dinner and refreshments, attendees met the Class of 2018, exchanged contact information, and brainstormed ideas for LaunchPad projects.
