Sibling Admission

Applications for the 2025–2026 academic year closed on January 16, 2025.

UPrep offers sibling applicants an early admission process for 6th and 9th grades. Our sibling process is designed for families who know that UPrep is their first choice. We also extend the courtesy of the early sibling process for 6th and 9th grade to children of faculty and staff.

Due to limited space in other grades, sibling applicants for grades 7–8 and 10–12 should apply during the standard application timeline. We will, however, consider sibling status in the standard decision process for grades 7–8 and 10–12 when placements are available.

While UPrep is a family school, and we hope to be able to keep siblings together, we do not guarantee admission to siblings.

To participate in the early sibling admission process, complete and submit the Initial Application form in Ravenna with the $60 application fee by October 10, 2024.

In addition to the Initial Application form the following items are due to the office of admission by November 14, 2024:

• Schedule a required student assessment in Ravenna on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
• Submit student essay and parent/guardian statement
• Submit a copy of student’s standardized test scores. Please see our test flexible policy here. We will be offering the ISEE at UPrep for 6th and 9th grade sibling applicants on Saturday, November 9, 2024. The ISEE event code is JWFHXF6S.
• Two completed Teacher Evaluation forms (Delegated forms will list a general application due date, so please follow up with teachers to remind them of the sibling deadline.)
• The School Administrator Form from either your student’s registrar, school principal, or division director 
• Request official transcripts or school records. (Due to the earlier deadline for siblings, we are aware that we may not receive school records/transcripts from the current school year, so the previous two years of records/transcripts is sufficient)
• Parent/guardian meeting (optional)
