UPrep values geographic diversity and intentionally enrolls students who live throughout King and Snohomish Counties. There are many ways for our students to commute to school, from buses and the light rail to carpools and bikes.
UPrep partners with Lakeside School and The Evergreen School to provide specially designed Metro bus routes that our students can use traveling to and from school. Our Custom Metro Buses run on the same schedule every day that UPrep has classes. The Custom Metro Bus pass (Orca card) purchased from UPrep is a two-zone card, good for a student’s Custom Metro bus route and for regular Metro, Community Transit, and Sound Transit (Link Light Rail) transportation.
The Custom Metro Bus program serves the following neighborhoods (routes vary year-to-year based on ridership levels):
Route 982: Evergreen Pt., Yarrow Pt., Clyde Hill, Overlake, Bear Creek
Route 986: Montlake, Evergreen Pt., Yarrow Pt., S. Kirkland, Houghton
Route 987: Roosevelt Light Rail Station, Mount Baker, Seward Park, Rainier Beach
Route 988: UW Light Rail Station, Montlake, Madison Valley, Miller Park, Madrona
Route 989: Mercer Island, Eastgate, Somerset, Factoria
UPrep provides limited, free on-campus parking, including spaces in a designated lot for 11th and 12th grade students, on a first come, first served basis. There is also ample street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
