Don't Miss the Upper School Play this Weekend!

The Upper School Play Production and Stagecraft classes proudly present Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom by Jennifer Haley. The neighborhood is a quiet suburban subdivision, each house identical to the other, governed by a strict neighborhood association that assures security in sameness. This frightening tale is a possible prediction of a dystopian world where parents, out of fear and guilt, befriend their children. They create an enabling escapist environment that usurps reality by allowing their children to become addicted to an online horror video game. The game just happens to take place in a subdivision with houses identical to their own homes. The object of the game is to destroy an army of Zombies and finally escape the neighborhood. But what is reality and what is virtual? The extreme lesson for parents and players is that fear has a life of its own.

Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom will play in Founders Hall Friday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, May 12, at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm. The audience will be seated on the stage with the performers and seating will be limited to less than 100 persons per performance.
