Student Life

Being a part of such an intimate, tight-knit community has made it easy for me to simply walk up to new people and hear their story. Through classes, clubs, and even just passing periods, UPrep has given me some of my closest friends. It's also a place where students really get to know the teachers and faculty. These are relationships that I will carry-on even after high school, and they are truly what made my time at UPrep memorable. –Joseph Yeung '21

Classes, homework, and friends take up a large portion of a student’s day, but there is even more to “student life” at University Prep! On any given day, our students could lead a club (or two!), plan a dance, play on a sports team, and build robots in the Makerspace.

The school day doesn’t end at 2:55! Most of our students play one or more of the many no-cut sports offered by our Athletics Department, participate in clubs that meet outside of regular school hours (such as Mock Trial or Robotics), and travel to snowy destinations on the Ski Bus.

UPrep students acquire leadership skills in clubs or ASB (our student council), engage in challenging discussions in affinity groups like the Queer Student Union, and flex their competitive sides in the Chess Club or on the Debate Team.
