Student Organized Consent Conference in Seattle
join us for soccs 2026: saturday, march 7 At UPrep in seattle, wa
Hearing survivors' stories was the single most powerful experience of the conference."
Student Organized Consent Conference in Seattle (SOCCS) is a youth-led conference about building cultures of consent at our schools and beyond. This year, our theme is Breath of Hope: Building Supportive Communities Through Conversation and Consent Education. Join us on March 7, 2026 at UPrep for a day full of amazing speakers, affinity spaces, and workshops. SOCCS is open to all high school-age students, parents/guardians, and educators.
The goal of SOCCS is to equip young people and adults with the skills needed to upend the culture surrounding sexual assault and consent in our society. The conference is student organized and aims to make this movement wildly contagious in other schools and communities. We hope to see you there!
Our Keynote Speaker

Our 2026 keynote speaker is Katie Koestner, activist and sexual assault survivor. Katie appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine as the first person in history to publicly speak out about being the victim of date rape. She is the founder of the Take Back the Night Foundation and has lectured at 5,000+ schools and corporations around the world.
It was so encouraging to see a conference like this taking place for and by students."
