Student wellness
Wellness at UPrep requires all of us to take a holistic view on the health of a student. If we support the whole student—their physical health, emotional health, mental health, spiritual health—we will have happier students who thrive." –Director of Wellness Mark Fadool
At UPrep, there are supportive eyes and ears on each student. We want to ensure that every student can easily access support when they need it. Adults in our community support our students and help them thrive as human beings and learners.
Some of the attributes that the UPrep Wellness Program is designed to foster are empathy, collaboration, problem solving, and communication.
Below, core programs that support student wellness are described in more details.

Being a part of a school community where students can share their desires with us and then have them translated into action is a good example of how UPrep is ready to listen to students. Students' willingness to partner with us in developing programs and activities strengthens them. The counselors bring our professional expertise, and the students bring a lens of how we can make things feel important and relevant so that their peers are receptive." –Counselor Lindsay Metcalfe
