What I see is a safe space where kids feel like they can stretch themselves and discover what they want to be and what they want to do. It goes beyond these walls. It's not about school, it's about life.” Kobi Yamada, UPrep Parent

In 1976, seven public school teachers followed their vision and founded a school designed to truly meet the needs of students and teachers. Growing slowly over the course of the next forty years, University Prep went from renting space in neighboring Temple Beth Am, to acquiring land and operating out of portables, to gradually building the beautiful campus it occupies today. Although the school has come a very Iong way from its origins, its core is very much the same: a school bound together by passionate educators, curious and eager young minds, and a community of families partnering with us to make this the very best school it can be.
